Richard Lander School works in close partnership with other local schools to the benefit of all students and to model in practice the notion of 'community'.
The Richard Lander Partnership includes Richard Lander School and the 10 partner primary schools which feed into our school.
We also work in partnership with Penair School and their partner primary schools and The Roseland School along with their partnership schools. This partnership is supported by Pencalenick School and Truro College, giving real meaning to a community which supports lifelong learning. In all, over 30 schools and colleges are involved in this extended partnership and this group is called the 'Truro and Roseland Learning Community'.
Our close collaboration works in three main ways: to offer opportunities for students beyond the curriculum, to manage wider 'extended school' opportunities such as Stay and Play or school breakfast provision and to provide professional support for teachers and senior leaders so that we learn from each other's good work.
