Year 7 Cookery Club: This is run to allow year 7 students to improve their cookery skills and have fun.
Advanced Cookery Club: This is run for a number of year 9 students to allow them time to develop more advanced cookery skills and to produce higher quality results
Craft Club takes place every Tuesday lunchtime in room 114. Past activities have included making honeycomb and Turkish delight, crocheting and knitting, casting pewter pendants and sewing bunting. Last term the Craft Club team managed to raise over £65 for the Royal British Legion by selling crocheted poppies for Remembrance Day. They also held a Christmas stall in school to raise funds to buy needle felting equipment.
STEM club is for all minds that work technically! If you are interested in science, maths and engineering then this is the club for you.
We meet in room 117 on Tuesday lunchtimes and embark on a range of different activities.
Each term is different, here are some of our past projects;
• designed and made products in Aluminium
• disassembled Dyson products
• designed and made solar powered cars
• designed products for the 3d printer
The sessions are fun and relaxed, with team work and individual challenges, helping us to learn about the world of Engineering.
