In Key Stage 4 students are asked to select one area of DT that they will take as a GCSE subject. The options available are….

Resistant Materials
Graphic Products
Food Technology
Textiles
Engineering (Double Award)

All work undertaken in Year 10 does not count towards the final GCSE (with the exception of engineering).
In Year 11, students’ coursework will contribute to 60% of the GCSE with the remaining 40% made up from a 2 hour final written exam.
