Year 7 thoroughly enjoyed Pyjamarama last Friday. Teachers from all curriculum areas were invited to start lessons by sharing their favourite bedtime story, English lessons featured games of ‘story consequences’ and writing ‘mini sagas’ (complete stories in exactly 50 words).
Pyjamarama lunchtime today saw Year 7 students trying to guess staff from the clues of a childhood photo and a paragraph about their first favourite book. This gave us a few giggles and our top tip for guessing is to look at the eyes! There was a children’s story quiz at tutor time.
Thank you to Miss Thomas for organising all of the Pyjamarama activities and thank you to Year 7 for getting involved!
Thank you to everyone who came into school in pyjamas or onesies and donated £1 to The Book Trust.
