Over the course of the last academic year students have been preparing artwork, poems and family stories to commemorate the 100th anniversary of World War One. This week some of those students were invited to attend a Cornish Schools Service of Remembrance at Truro Cathedral. One of the highlights for students was the dropping of poppies onto the congregation from the Bell tower, which was screened live by the BBC as part of their Remembrance programme.
The students were excellent ambassadors for the school and if you do have a chance to visit the Cathedral and view their work it is well worth a visit.
