Welsh 3 Peaks Challenge for Lander4Uganda
During the bank holiday weekend, 35 staff and their families and friends took part in the Welsh 3 Peaks challenge. For most this involved climbing Pen Y Fan, in the Brecon Beacons after a 6 hour drive from Cornwall and then driving straight to Cadair Idris in Snowdonia National Park, to complete that in the same day. This meant descending in the dark, with head torches and a very late night! The following day participants climbed Snowden to complete the trio.
All agreed the challenge was a exhilarating, eye popping, memorable and empowering experience with some staff describing it as one of the hardest things they have ever done!
It’s not too late to donate and every penny raised will be used to fund the vital work that the Lander4Uganda 2019 team will do in Uganda in July.
