On Tuesday 10th October over 100 Primary School students visited Richard Lander School with their teachers for a taste of what musical life is like at our school. The students were able to try 4 different workshops including: Singing, African drumming, Indonesian Gamelan, and steel pan playing that originates from Trinidad and Tobago. The workshops were led by school teachers Miss Jones and Miss Foxon, and also by CMST music teachers Mrs. Judge and Mrs. Bridle. We had 12 brilliant KS3 Music Subject leaders who got involved with the workshops and helped the primary students feel at ease and welcome.
Check out the photos for what they got up to and well done everybody!
