Year 10 Art and Photography students had a great day out last week .
The art students visited the Tate gallery to see the Otobong Nkanaga exhibition which had some really interesting work that relates to people and different environments . Students sketched and looked like true artists exploring the work in the gallery. They then went on to the Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Garden and got absorbed in the wonderful surroundings that Barbara Hepworth lived and worked in.
The Photography students had the opportunity to visit Geevor tin mines to take photos of the tin mine and surrounding areas . It’s an inspiring place so they got some fantastic photos
