Andy Clarke, from Global Technology Racing came into school on Tuesday to show carbon fibre components from Formula 1 cars to a selection of students, and to share his experiences of working in the Motor Racing industry with them. The photo shows Anthony Gallagher from year 9 sitting in a carbon fibre seat which was made for racing driver, Sebastian Vettel. To make it, Vettel sat in a bag of foam which took an impression, which was then used to model the seat. Thank you very much to Andy for making a special trip from GTR in West Sussex and for missing sleep (Andy works night shifts at the moment). Thank you also to Mrs Clarke for organising everything.
