Report by Year 8 Student
Some of the many students that have Dyspraxia and A.D.H.D went on a trip to Hobbycraft. Hobbycraft is a shop that sells lots of arts and crafts things. Organized by Mrs Clarke, the trip was aimed to give the children an opportunity to learn something new, to support our concentration and fine motor skills.
On the trip we learnt how to knit! It was hard work and involved lots of focus, but towards the end we had all learnt the basic skill of knitting.
We then completed the knitting in school and it is now displayed as a group square in Mrs Clarke’s room.
