Emily Tinney and Amy Rand both represented Richard Lander School at Cornwall College for the Cornish Final of the South West Chef of the Year competition. They were chosen after submitting their dishes online before the summer. It was quite a privilege to be invited to cook as there had been a number of entries and only 6 finalist spaces available. Both girls cooked very well and produced some lovely food that was praised by the judges. Unfortunately neither girl won, being pipped by a student from Truro High.
