At last the long awaited seeds from space have arrived and been planted! Mrs Knight's team planted the red seeds and Ms Clemow's team planted the blue seeds. Only one packet has travelled to the International Space Station where they have been nurtured by Tim Peake, but we don't know which one! Students also made labels according to rather precise instructions.
The project, Rocket Science, will give around half a million UK children the chance to learn how science in space contributes to our knowledge of life on earth, using the invaluable expertise of the European Space Agency (ESA) and RHS Science team.
